Nose pad adjustment for clipping

While PDs can be accurately measured the shape of the nose cannot be and can be asymmetrical. While this usually does not cause any issue, as higher magnifications have a smaller 'exit pupil' in the lens, sometimes nose pads need some lateral adjustment to get the best image and ExamVision nose pads are designed to be adjusted.

However looking through 1 eye may show clipping that is not here when both eyes are used as the pupil moves out around 2 mm when 1 eye only is used. So always check that the clipping is there when looking through both oculars at the same time before deciding if any adjustment needs to be made.
