Nose pad is loose in the retainer

Rarely you may find that the nose pad does not stay in the retainer even though it is intact.

Firstly try the spare nose pad that comes with the loupe. There is a nose pad remover tool to help you remove the nose pad - watch the video . Note that in the video the nose pad is black - current nose pads are clear.

If the new nose pad does not stay in the retaining clip it is possible that the tolerance on the retaining clip is a little loose.

This is easily adjusted by squeezing the sides of the nose pad together with pliers so that the gap at the bottom reduces - view the instructional picture
