OxO connections and streaming

While the OxO video camera can only be controlled by an iPhone, iPad or Android device, it is possible to stream to a TV, monitor. or a computer for internet connection.

Because of the very variable requirements of users we suggest getting the advice of an A/V professional. However we can give some guidelines.

If you are using Apple devices you may be able to stream directly from the iPhone or iPad used to control the OxO - more info here

You can connect the camera to a screen, A/V system or streaming by using a cable from the mini HDMI port on the camera. The cable type can be found here

There is a wireless solution where the HDMI port is connected by a very short cable to a wireless transmitter (a small dongle usually clipped onto your clothing) that can be powered by the same battery pack as the OxO – it just needs a special cable kit. The HDMI signal is transmitted wirelessly to a receiver that then passes the HDMI signal to the equipment. We do not sell the transmitter/receiver as there are a number of types depending on the wireless distance required and quality. Some dentists have used low-cost equipment sold on Amazon but your A/V supplier should be able to recommend the best equipment for your individual needs.
