Microetcher connection to air supply

It is better to attach a Microetcher directly to an air supply rather than handpiece tubing. The higher pressure makes it more efficient (quicker and less powder used) and there is no need to lift the tubing and press the foot control as well as the button on the Microetcher to activate it, Only the button needs to be depressed.

We can supply the direct connector for £35 + VAT. To see the type of connector that it plugs in to look for the part in your surgery here- (ignore the tubing - that is if you need to fit a connector in your surgery). We supply the metal part in the top of the picture and in your surgery you should see just the far end of the metal part attached to the tubing.

We also supply a kit to install the quick disconnect that has all the parts required for £65 + VAT. It is everything that you can see here

Evident does supply an adapter for handpiece tubing at a cost of £75 + VAT. You would need to unscrew the existing handpiece adapter and connect this.

You can see the 4-hole connector here

Evident also supply an adapter for Kavo tubing at a cost of £92 + VAT.

You can see the Kavo connector here.

The Microetcher body and tip are fully autoclavable and unlike most other air abrasion units, the tip is made from very long lasting carbide. In the unlikely event of ever needing any repair (they are very reliable), we do this here.
